- Exceptional Crappie form
fish spearing decoy from the Leech Lake area of Minnesota. Body
is wood with sheet metal fins and tail. Great paint which appears
to be original and well simulates the markings on a Crappie (also
referred to as a "Calico Bass" in some areas). Tail
is purposely curved to provide swimming action. We left the old
wire hanger on it. This decoy was the centerpiece of a collection
of fish decoys belonging to a man in Iowa. Best fish decoy we
have seen in many years of collecting and selling them. Apprx.
