Crooked Knife with Tintype

Crooked knife with tintype of a little girl inset in the handle - probably the maker's daughter or granddaughter, to remind him of her during the long work season away from home. We have only seen one other crooked knife with an image inset in the handle (that of the maker's wife). This knife also has fine cross hatched decoration and a nicely scrolled handle end. Circa late 19th century. Apprx. 8" L. (CK- 11)
