- Crooked knife with tintype
of a little girl inset in the handle - probably the maker's daughter
or granddaughter, to remind him of her during the long work season
away from home. We have only seen one other crooked knife with
an image inset in the handle (that of the maker's wife). This
knife also has fine cross hatched decoration and a nicely scrolled
handle end. Circa late 19th century. Apprx. 8" L. (CK- 11)
