a clenched fist, circa early 19th century. Probably from a small
sailing vessel. Detailed carving on all sides, with floral and
geometric designs. 29" long. Bears carved initials "W
& J C". Minor wear and losses from use. Circa 19th century,
New England origin. An unusual piece of early American maritime
