Eternal Flame Carving    Eternal Flame Carving

Odd Fellows wood carving of an urn holding the so-called "eternal flame", symbolizing eternal life. This piece was found in Pennsylvania. No structural damage. Paint appears to be original. There is some minor paint loss on one side over an area that evidently had a knot. We've not seen many of these pieces and believe them to be uncommon. Ca. late 19th - early 20th century. Approximately 12" tall x 7 ½" wide across the handles. (CP-32)
