- Very small horn powder flask,
probably for a pistol, made by a sailor in the late 18th Century,
with original carved wooden stopper and a whalebone base plate
which has a carved "X" attached with iron tacks. The
spout is carved in the shape of a fish mouth. It is approximately
7/8" wide at the base and 6"long. (CQ-18)
