- Spectacular carving of a
flying drake mallard. Nicely curved wings with meticulously
carved and painted feather detail, even including the underside.
Small shoe button eyes. An old break in one wing
and the tip of one wing feather were repaired by the previous
owner, but they are well done and don’t detract from the
sculptural beauty of the piece. 9 1/2" long with a
wingspan of approximately 14". Circa 1st or 2nd quarter
of 20th century. Comes with an adjustable weighted base.
