Pair of Masonic ceremonial and/or parade torches. One is 22 ½" long and the other 20 ½". Both are in good condition. The "flames" consist of tubes of rolled paper or reeds twisted at the top, probably secured in place by a coat of shellac, painted red and then gilded. Circa 19th century. (CM-39)
