- Well-made patriotic keepsake
box with incised eagle and shield and various interior and exterior
incised compass-formed decorations. Has minor paint wear
and and someone scraped something off under the eagle and shield
on the lid, most likely an earlier owner's name, and then repainted
the area. Cabriole style legs. Probably dates to the early
half of the 20th century. Found in Ohio. Approximately
18" W x 11" Deep X 9" H. (CE-26)
