Tin Shorebird Decoy

"Stick-up" sheet metal shorebird decoy in original paint with some expected wear and rust. Probably intended to be a yellowlegs or willet. These factory made decoys were inexpensive, could be easily carried by hunters and deployed in large numbers in the flats along the ocean and lake shores. Circa early 20th century.
