- Small burl canoe cup with
a hand-painted horse. 3 ½" L x 2 1/8" W x apprx.
1 ¾" H. Very unusual subject for a canoe cup, but
quite attractive. Probably maple. There is an old split in the
end of the handle extending into the belt strap hole and a previous
owner replaced the belt strap with a rawhide thong which is too
large and probably should be removed. Circa probably early 20th
century. (CI-9)
