- Cow pull toy, made of papier
mache’. Circa mid-late 19th century. In original
condition with wear, and some peeling to paint on right side,
but structurally sound. Has been in our personal collection
for many years. When we obtained it the head moved as it
was pulled and there was a faint “mooing” sound, but
it is now still and silent. Rare to find with horns, ears,
udder, tail, collar and bell all still intact and in good condition.
A fine example of a well loved early child’s toy.
