- Unusual small framed Odd
Fellows heart in hand symbol painted in gold leaf on paper and
laid on fabric. The fabric may be silk. The artist
painted in a shadow which creates the illusion that the hand
is elevated slightly above the background. The frame appears
to be original. There are some small creases in the fabric
that could probably be eliminated by stretching it, but we decided
to leave that decision to the buyer. It displays very well
as is. Circa late 19th century. Frame measures 9”
by 6 ¾” and the sight size is 7 7/8” by 5 1/8”.
