- Brightly painted bucket with
panels of birds and flowers and metal reinforcement. Purchased
at an Americana auction, but more likely from eastern Europe
or Asia. Bears some strong similarities to a chest we sold several
years ago that was from Tibet. Paint is excellent. Approx. 12"
high; top diameter 8"; bottom diameter 10". There is
a metal ring on one side but no indication one was ever attached
to the other side. Doesn’t appear to have had a handle.
Possibly a flower pot? (CB – 30)
