- Patriotic powder horn dating
to early 19th century. Original paint darkened by varnish and
age. We believe it may originally been red, white and blue and
darkened by age, although red, gold and blue colors would also
have been patriotic. Note old hand wrought nails on base. Plug
on the neck is missing but could easily be replaced with a hand
carved piece of wood. (CH-2)
