Flow Blue





Rare brushstroke flow blue mustard pot in “Sloe Blossom” pattern. Pewter top is loose from age¬†but can easily be re-secured with plaster of Paris. It is in outstanding original condition with bold cobalt color. Small firing mark in underside of handle. 3″ tall to top of rim. Circa mid-19th century. Has been in our personal collection for almost 20 years. (BR-21)

Very rare and early “Sphinx” pattern flow blue platter by Charles Meigh (1835-49) . 21 1/2″ x 17 1/4″. Original condition with very slight edge wear that doesn’t show when displayed. No chips or restoration. This is a striking piece that has been our personal collection for many years. It displays beautifully on the wall.

10″ flow blue pheasant¬†game plate in “La Francaise” pattern by the French China Company. American c. 1900. Excellent condition with expected wear to the gilt decoration. These plates, which come with a variety of game birds pictured in the center, are hard to find. We have several others with different birds.
